Subject:Need Help w/IDs for 50s era Asian Goasch Dancers-Ethnicity etc.

hi everyone. i just found these two amazing paintings. i believe they date from the 50s. both are matted and framed and under glass. each measures 12"x9.5" and the frames are somewhat larger. the use of color and detail is stunning. i'm hoping someone out there can help me with identifying the ethnicity of the dancers. any information along these lines would be greatly appreciated, including any names for the costumes? is this a cultural ballet? are works of this nature common? is there a name for works of this type? obviously, i would love it if someone out there recognizes the artist name, but any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks

The painting are Thai, and probably from the 50's or 60's. I searched the artists's name, Boonchoo, but could find nothing similar.

thank you for your help. i wonder if this is an early work by the noted Thai artist Boonchoo Chawana? as i read about his work, it does seem to be along the lines of his early colorful work dealing with images that appear almost like photographs. i can't find any examples of his signature from the 50s online.
