Posted By: JDP Tue, Aug 19, 2014 Anyone in my presence that has touched and held this beautiful artifact knows that it is very special. I'm blown away on how you can be so quick to say this is not jade, maybe it's the lighting in the photo. This artifact is much heavier than it looks, it has a beautiful deep resonant sound to the clicking, it feels cold, smooth to the touch and takes a while to warm up in your hands when you're holding it. All characteristics of real jade. I reference you to a photo from this forum that shows real Hongshan jade. The picture on the left matches my jade perfectly. This item is approximately 8 inches tall by 15 inches wide. JDP |

Subject:A modern Hongshan fantasy piece
Posted By: Super Mon, Aug 18, 2014 I have no idea how big your double C dragons is. But as far as I know, there is no known authentic double C dragons that could be documented from legal excavations. For that matter, none for single C dragons either, whether small or large. As a matter of fact, the six (or 5?) famous large C Dragons including the No. 1 Dragon of China were not from documented excavations but were believed to be authentic due to expert opinions. |

Subject:Not fantasy but reality
Posted By: JDP Wed, Aug 20, 2014 My copyright is of the photo. I simply ask, "what do you think?" I know what it is. This is your opportunity, right now, to get it right or not with your opinion. |
