Subject:Chinese Vase/Jar

Hi. I was left this Chinese vase/jar by the former owners of the house I'm currently in. They were art and antiquities collectors and I had helped them with some things and this was a gift they gave me in appreciation. I don't know anything about it, but they informed me it was quite old. There are no identifying marks on the bottom (see below) Beyond that, I know nothing about it and would love to.
