Subject:double fish chinese porcelain vases
Posted By: greg sutherland Mon, Aug 25, 2014 IP: 97.93.95.201 I am going through some of my grandmothers collection of asian figures and I have a match pair of double fish vases. They had a very old price tag on the bottom of one of $550 but I'm dubious regarding quality. |

Posted By: adam Tue, Aug 26, 2014 This colour mix is know as Sancai, however post Tang dynasty (Ming and 18th century examples) are generally refered to as Su-sancai (ie. "Recent sancai") you often see it in auctions erroneously called "famille verte".... |
