Subject:Identify this pottery

Greetings everyone. Maybe you can identify this ceramic vase, which I believe is Chinese. It has a lot of age to it and was clearly turned and not formed with a paddle. The inscribed decoration looks Chinese, or Mayan (which I feel it isn't). It is a wonderful piece, just acquired! Many thanks to all! -Loren

The shape is a ZHADOU an eastern spitoon, what kiln it is I do not know. I would suggest likely provincial
