Subject:Han jar????????

Dear forum
I acquired this jar from a very reliable person.He told me that this is a Han green jar
I really like it but would valie your opinions

not well molded or in the best condition, and the color seems more like tea dust color than the green from the Han era, but it does seem to be a plausible Han funerary jar.

Hi,

Style, firing spots, design etc...yes it looks correct for a Han Dy. pottery.

To be sure it is old, check if you can see some rainbow colors appearing in the green glaze when exposed to strong light.

Also check if the white located in the cracks can't be removed easily by simply wetting with water and cleaning the surface.

Two simple little tests that should confirm the authenticity.
