Any help on the artist would be great...
The material looks like linen, this is not a painting, it is all done using thread

That looks to me like the signature and seal of the artist Bakufu Ohno (1888-1976). I've only seen his printed work. I've never heard of him doing the type of embroidery that you have. Perhaps the embroidery was made by someone else from one of his designs?

The art work is very realistic and it looks like a complete scenic of painting.
