Subject:Japanese scroll translation
Posted By: Ellie Tue, Nov 04, 2014 IP: 83.195.206.22

Hi.

I got this scroll a while ago and it's been hanging in my room. I really like it. I think it's Japanese but I've been wondering what the text says and who it was painted by.

Any suggestions as to age and signature?

second half 20th century I would think, not necessarily Japanese, though I can't get a grip on who the artist is supposed to be

Thanks for the reply. I knew that the scroll wasn't old. Although I did get it from Japan, maybe I should post some better photos.

Thanks anyway.
