Found foo dog

7 inch long

3.5 inch high

2 .5 width

Maybe is is Jadeite...scratch test!!,otherwise it is very likely carved in this Century.

Hi, thank you very much for your answer.

I did the test scratch and the result is :

In the white area on the bottom

It's soft and left a clare mark

In the green area on the bottom, it's different

I pushed very hard and I have a very small scratch

visible under 10x loupe.

White scratch in this case indicates a non-Jade.

But what about the white part it is calcification ?

The good carvers look for a weathered rock, and make another authentic ancient carving.
