Hello Gabi

Without a proper photo, and going by the mark only, this piece is consistent with those produced between c1900-1940's in China. The piece should have another copper band around its neck assuming that it is a vase or similar. It should also have a crackle glaze and scenes of fighting warriors. There is a similar post on this site just above yours. Unfortunately it is of no great value but a nice decorative piece anyway.
