Subject:Blue white bowl

I would greatly appreciate any information about this small bowl measuring approximately 14 cm in diameter and not quite 4 cm tall. It is not marked. The pair of motifs on the outer side of the bowl are repeated 4 times. My research has left me more confused than anything. Thank, Peter

Peter, this looks like a Japanese Imari bowl in underglaze blue (called "sometsuke" in Japanese.)
