hellooo deares art lovers, i am an "amateur" art lover, my late discovery was this vase, although i know it has not high value, but it has some value i guess. please your insightfull opinion will e much apreciated.

Early 20th century and about $8,000 to $15,000 fair market value.

FYI Rod, The People's Republic of China was declared in 1949. The label seen on the base of one of these enameled metal vases supports the dating offered by beadiste. While both vases have been given the archaized form of an ancient beaker (gu), their panels have more contemporary cloisonné decoration.

So the item cannot be earlier than 1949.
The enamel workshops that produced pieces in boxes with labels like these were organized in the mid-1950s.
Thus "early 20th century" seems off by about half a century. These items are likely around 40 years old.

A flyover of recent auction sales for similar pieces seems to indicate that they might sell for around $200. Maybe.

Recently I did a blog post featuring the 8 pages from a color brochure from the Beijing Enamel Company that seems likely to be from the early 1980s. A flanged vase similar to yours is pictured on page 5. The brochure vase shows red-crowned cranes, whereas yours depicts scholar objects, I think.

I'd love to know what the red logo on your box represents - anybody have a clue? Is it some sort of decorative version of seal script?

As to value, you might watch eBay for awhile and search for such terms as "Jing Fa cloisonne" or "Zi Jin Cheng cloisonne" as these were Beijing Enamel Company trademarks that appear on boxed sets such as yours. A Google image search on those terms might also be productive, featuring links to other auction sites so you can see what similar sets have sold for.
