Subject:Chinese / Japanese signature ID

Hi, I'm hoping someone out there can please assist with identifying these two signatures ( from 2 different pictures ). The seals are extremely faded, I'm thinking they are Chinese.

Any help with ID and age would be appreciated.

first picture is Japanese, the second one may or may be Japanese as well. please post better images, including an overall view of each
