Can anyone decipher the signature and symbol on the bottom of this broze tiger. Or can you identify the period it was made?

It's a Meiji period bronze okimono of a tiger, designed and made by the important Tokyo master metalworker Miyabe Atsuyoshi, sealed 'Atsuyoshi saku' (made by Atsuyoshi), followed by the seal-shaped cartouche of the workshop where it was casted, reading 'Maruki shachu seisaku' (casted by the Maruki company).

Could you post an image of the object itself?

Guy.

Just wanted to specify that this okimono (ornament for display) was in fact commissioned from Atsuyoshi by the Maruki company to be sold for export at their shop in Tokyo. The company commissioned also quality silver objects and netsuke in ivory, made by different artists during the 1890s.
Cfr the shop label from 1894.
