Subject:Silver hand marking

I'm looking for info on the markings on this sculpture. It's a life size hand with vase made out of bronze with silver plate. It came from the estate of an opera diva who toured Europe and Asia in the 1930's.

Hi, I think it is Chinese and that it could be the hand of Guanyin holding the pure water bottle. Are you sure this is silver? To me it looks rather new, but I am no expert...

Yes it's silver over bronze. It has wonderful detail. She acquired it in the 30's. Thanks for the responce
