Subject:Japanese Yatate Inkwell - Script translation

Good morning,

Picked this up at an auction on Saturday.
I believe this is referred to as a Yatate or Japanese Inkwell.
Have no idea how old it is or if these are still made.
Believe made of stone. Can anyone identify the stone?
Looking for translation of what it says on the handle.

The pic with the signature on the shaft is shown upside down.

This is indeed a 'yatate' (portable brush and ink container) signed on the shaft 'Ryubundo zo' (made by Ryubundo) a well-known Kyoto company that made mainly iron 'tetsubin' (tea kettles) but also these yatate.

The meaning of the cloud on the ink holder is unclear to me, could have a buddhist meaning.
Should date it Meiji to Taisho period (late 19th century to first quarter 20th century). Seems to be casted in copper or bronze, fitted with an original cord and two bone beads or 'ojime' (cord fastener).
