Subject:Help identify Mark
Posted By: Bob Kane Tue, Mar 10, 2015 IP: 174.119.242.102 Can anyone help me identify the mark on my Qianlong porcelain tapering rouleau vase ? The base has the Emperor's apocryphal four character seal mark in blue enamel. Pic 1 is from my vase, Pic 2 is from a High Value Chisties Piece, Pic 3 is Yang Fan's Translation. Vase Description: brightly painted in famille rose enamels around the body with a group of Immortals & others gathered beneath a pine tree, the waisted neck with flowers & formal scrolling on a yellow ground, the reverse with a text - said to be a poem of the Qianlong Emperor. |
