Posted By: snap Fri, Mar 20, 2015 Very large numbers of such wares were exported to the West, especially USA, especially 1890s-1920s. Decoration quality ranged from fair to very good. You can find better quality in such matters as details if you search this site and look at a lot of vases. The best quality Satsuma, not made for export, is rarely seen in the West but there have been a couple of magazine articles about it. |
