hi folks

we inherited an antique Chinese jade lotus bowl, from my grandparents, when my grandfather was stationed in post-war Japan

we don't know much about it, or its value... i realize that there are a lot of fakes out there, but as this one as been in the family for 60 years, we can only assume that it is authentic

it is extremely thin and light-weight, almost feels like plastic!

any indications as to its origin and value would be welcome :-)

Very nice! Qing dynasty, mughal style. Consult Bonhams or Christie's for an estimate.
