Subject:Chinese porcelain mark.
Posted By: Didier Sun, Mar 29, 2015 IP: 2.0.68.155

Hello to you all

I would please submit this mark of porcelain to your sagacity. Do you have an idea about it, workshop mark, artist or other?

I thought of a production Dehua, but the paste of the porcelain looks different and perhaps oldest of what I know.

With thanks in advance.

Best regards.

Japanese Banko Studio. From what can be seen of the teapot, appears to be a fairly recent product for use in the "Chanoh" or Tea Ceremony.

Best regards.

The characters are 萬古, the vessel may be Japanese rather than Chinese.

Hi

That is why this porcelain asked me a serious problem identification, it is Japanese, I had not thought of that can come from. :)

Thank you Bill and Rat.

Best regards
