Subject:Request for help - Japanese bronze sculpture

I admit that most of my collections are the east ceramics so I would like to start selected bronzes.
Please help is it worth it to get so and who are able to sculpt...
I'm grateful for the support ;-)

Hi Tom,
Unfortunately you have not made a very good choice to start your bronze collection.

The eagle head is Chinese brass with no age at all. The apocryphal mark is that of the Chinese Emperor Qianlong (1736 to 1795).

If you search eBay for eagle heads you will find masses of similar heads for sale in China, priced from as low as $30.
