Subject:Chinese antique scroll.

Is there anyone in the Asia Forum who can enlighten me as to who has made this old scroll.? It looks to be at least a hundred years old.

I forgot to write that the scroll has the dimensions 47 cm * 100cm. I will also send more pictures of scroll and hope that someone with knowledge can help me. // Marie

The name seal reads WANG 王 GUXIANG 榖 祥. A Wang Guxiang (1501-1568) is listed. His seals and signature are close to your examples, but the styles don't appear to match up. It's a beautiful scroll.

Thanks for the enlightenment !!
It's a really nice scrolling with beautiful colors. I know that scroll comes from a better home in the 1800s and was saved from ending up on a rubbish dump by a servant who liked the subject and he framed it in a glass frame. I hope it may be the work of Wang Guxiang which according to dictionaries is also specialized in bird and flower. // Marie
