Subject:yixing teapot help

Hello

I have this Yixing teapot and am looking for any information regarding age , maker , ect or even a decipher of the mark

any info would be great..

p.s i dont have the lid , would it be possible to find a replacement?

Looks like it was made within the past few decades. The maker's mark reads "made by Shi Dabin". Replacement lids are not available.

there are signs of handmade construction , i.e the finger marks on the piece and the comb marks on the edge of the handle and the teapot does have quite a lot of tea staining on the inside which made me think earlier.

It might be, but teapots used for a few decades can certainly look well used. fyi Shi Dabin was a famous Yixing potter from the very late Ming period into the early Qing.
