What you apparently have isn't a woodblock print but a rubbing of an incised or carved stone tablet depicting the Daoist Immortals called the "He He Er Xin" or "Ho Ho Twins". They are Chinese symbols of Peace and Harmony.

Here's another such rubbing of a different Chinese deity, this one from the Buddhist religion, called a Luohan in Chinese or Arhat in Sanskrit. This one is from a ten-volume set of 500 such rubbings, a copy of which was sold by Christie's in the UK four years ago for the pound sterling equivalent of more than US$17,266.

Best regards,

Bill H.

It's a rubbing of a carving of Hanshan and Shide that copies a Luo Pin painting. See the following URL: http://terebess.hu/zen/chang/pacskolat.html

Your image appears to be a print, possibly prepared from a rubbing.
An actual rubbing shows the impact of the soft hammer. Your print does not display this
important characteristic. You can see this in rat's link, but not in your picture. here is a link to a rubbing being created.
