Subject:Chinese Scroll Help and Translation Please
Posted By: Joe Thu, Apr 23, 2015 IP: 24.44.45.107 I purchased this Chinese scroll several years ago. I believe the artists are Qi Gong and Qi Baishi. There is also a sticker on the end of the wood roller. If anyone can help with the identification and or translation on the scroll and or the end of the roller I would greatly appreciate that. Thank you in advance for your time in this matter. |

Posted By: rat Fri, Apr 24, 2015 Your scroll has nothing to do with Qi Baishi, this scroll is inscribed, stamped, labeled as by Qi Gong only. Whether it is genuine is another matter. US$50,000 is the approximate level several pieces of his calligraphy have sold for at Christies in recent years. |
