Subject:Brass Pots- any idea??

Hi,

I have these two brass pots which have been in the family for years and have been passed down through generations. I believe they date back to the war times. I have no idea what they would have been used for or what the writing means underneath. Can anyone help??

Hi,
The writing says 珍 寳 ,It means "Rare treasure".
