Subject:Large Asian vase

I just bought this at a yardsale and would love to know a little more about it. It's about 3' tall and seems to only have 1 chip on the inside on top.

I know nothing about Asian art, but found this one intriguing ;-)

looks like a Chinese made Satsuma vase,not that old
