Posted By: Robert Sat, Jul 04, 2015 Your Japanese tea ceremony vase looks more like Kyoto than Kutani ware. It seems to be in the style of (after) Okuda Eisen who is said to have produced Kyoto's first porcelaneous ware, which was painted with red, green and turquoise blue enamels in a style that tended to mimic South Chinese Swatow wares. The attached picture is from a web seller who attributed his similar vase to Eisen. |
