Subject:Chinese Porcelain Buddha
Posted By: Josh Thu, Jul 09, 2015 IP: 73.187.32.168

Chinese porcelain Buddha statue, measures 8" tall, 7 1/4" wide and is 4 1/4" deep. Has two impressed marks on the base. Was wondering if anyone might know the period this is from or be able to translate the marks. Thanks

Hi Josh - I can't read the marks, but the color palate and form says late 20th century. The embossed Roman Numerals also imply it was made for the Western market. I would guess no earlier than 1960s
