I recently picked up an original abstract 2' X 2' watercolor painting by a Japanese artist. I am attempting to determine who it is by and its potential value. If I was able to decipher this correctly the date looks to be some time in 1975. Attached is an image of the piece, the date/signature, as well as an inscription on the back wooden panel. Any and all input is deeply appreciated.

Wow I'm surprised that it's been a bit over a month with no responses as to whom this piece might be by. Where are all of the so-called "experts" out there?
