Subject:Japanese Satsuma Cup and saucer
Posted By: Amber J Wed, Jul 22, 2015 IP: 66.58.211.162

Hi can anyone tell me about this cup and saucer? They are beautiful, sadly the marks on both are worn away and illegible. But maybe someone can tell from the articles themselves what period and approximate worth. Thanks

Dear Amber,
Your cup and saucers are not Satsuma. For the period I'd say 1st half of XXth century.

Hi Remy -- Thanks for taking the time to respond.

The beige crackle made me think it was satsuma.
