Subject:Japanese Bronze Vase

Can anyone help me with identifying the origins and makers of this bronze vase I have recently come across. I have been told it is Japanese but would like someone with more knowledge on the subject to kindly give me some information regarding the vase. There are markings on the bottom as well as the side of the vase. Many thanks.

Most probably Japanese. It feature the 18 lohan, (十八羅漢）and dated Winter 1884 0r 1944 (甲申之冬）

The seal mark Da Ming Xuan De (大明宣德） is apocryphal and does not mean this is a Ming dynasty vase..
