Subject:Help with title/artist on print(?)
Posted By: Lance Frazer Sat, Sep 26, 2015 IP: 67.187.170.37 This item was actually tucked behind another painting. The art is roughly 10 1/2 by 9 1/2, and given the degree of foxing, it's not terribly recent. It appears to be on paper, and the frame has a wood backing with badly rusted nails. I find no results doing a google image search, and would appreciate whatever the learned members can tell me about the title/artist. My thanks in advance. |

Posted By: rat Mon, Sep 28, 2015 actually this is a relatively recent work, autumn 1998. title is "Good Fortune Arrives", where the character meaning good fortune is a homonyn for the character meaning "bat", hence the red bats in the upper left. the figure is Zhongkui. |
