Subject:Kabuki Doll in Glass Case

I recently acquired this kabuki style doll and am curious if anyone can give me any information about it. The doll is displayed in a wood and glass case and does show significant wear. The fabric is frayed and faded and the nose on the face is chipped. The doll appears to be decorated with silk, feathers, foil paper and other unknown materials. It is mounted on a faded wood block that was painted yellow and is now split. It measures roughly 14" high.
I would like to know if there is a name for the doll or figure it represents and the item's approx age.

Hi,
The doll is not a Japanese Kabuki doll,maybe Jīng jù (京劇) dall in Beijing opera.

Or, maybe a Japanese Noh player?

Your "kabuki style doll" reminds me of the artwork of a Filipino artist who had used found "vintage" materials to re-create Japanese dolls in, at times, old glass cases.

I'm not a kabuki expert in the least, but the make-up of the doll reminds me of the play "Kurozuka" - a Kabuki play adapted from a Noh play "Adachigahara". The main character in the play being a demon who feasts on human blood - hence the red lips.

I'm not at all certain, but that what it reminds me of.
