Subject:Can anyone help identify and date this armchair? Type of wood?
Posted By: May Ilene Fri, Oct 09, 2015 IP: 70.214.41.216

Have searched and searched online for a chair with similar leg composition, but have been unable to locate even one that is similar. Any thoughts on the wood?

Sorry, only 1 picture of 3 showed up. Have tried to reply to my original post with picture attachments countless times with no luck. Posted a new message with pictures on the 10th, but it has not made it to the forum yet so I'm not sure what is going on. This is a test to see if I can reply without attachments. Trying to figure this site out. Any help would be appreciated.

Chair weight is 29 pounds, if that helps narrow down wood type.
