Can anyone help me find out more about this bowl? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

This bears some resemblance to early 19th century Chinese "Kitchen Qing" wares with stamped decoration, as illustrated in the recently published "Allen's Antique Porcelain -- The Detection of Fakes". However, would help to see the other side of the dish.

Dear Bill,
Thanks for your response. However, after a good read through and a look at current examples on sale, I'm not sure that this is kitchen Qing. The glazes are not the same, quite flat and lighter, and the motifs are very painterly in comparison. I'm not sure which image in particular was a close comparison. Can you give me a reference?
A friend suggested that it may be from a ship wreck but I'm not sure.

The first and third links show some pieces similar to the Kitchen Qing dishes I was talking about. The second link has a Vietnamese dish toward the end of the thread that has some of the same characteristics and a foot more like yours.
