Subject:Chinese Vase w/four character Qianlong Red Seal Mark

This vase was brought back to the United States Just after ww2 in the 1940's that's all the history I have. The red 4 character Qianlong Mark on bottom can be felt with fingers. Vase measures 6 3/4" Tall, about 5" wide and comes in old leather covered padded silk lined wooden box, Excellent condition no chips cracks or repairs. Any Idea of Age or Value and what the other marks are.

Somehow I doubt the inscription reads,

"But Daddy, it was such a bargain!"

Not trying to be a smart-aleck, it's just such a dramatic little vignette, I'd like to know the story.
