In my opinion, this dish dates to around 1925 or later in the Republic era, when the Chinese Civil War was beginning to strain manpower and materials for the kilns. The painting is fair, but the motif around the foot is rather perfunctory compared to that on late-Qing wares, and the porcelain itself doesn't appear to be of a quality for export to the West. Probably made for domestic consumption or export to Asian markets.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Thank You Bill. I wish my Chinese friend would have never moved back to China.
