Please Help Identify Chinese Signature on Snuff Bottle. Thanks so Much

The mark says "Bi Yu Tang" (碧玉堂), the "Hall of Green Jade". In Gerald Davison's 2013 2nd edition of the "New and Revised Handbook of Marks on Chinese Ceramics", the mark (with 'zhi'/製/'made' included at its end) is No. 1153 and attributed to the Kangxi era. From what can be seen of the rest of your snuff bottle, it probably is a late 20th century or subsequent product.

Best regards.

Further to my comment and for comparison with decoration on your snuff bottle, here's a photo of Kangix-era paintings of floral sprays on a blue & white porcelain saucer dish made circa the fourth quarter of the 17th century.

Best regards,

Bill H.

This would be called a 'Lotus Marsh' pattern with fish, birds and maybe a duck in sight. The cobalt lines in the motif lack the delicacy achieved by porcelain painters in Qing and early Republic times, so this still appears to me to be a fairly contemporary piece. Here's a Guangxu-period version of the similar 'Lotus Marsh with Egret' motif in a 4.5-inch 'rice grain' bowl.

Best regards,

Bill H.
