Subject:Huanghuali table
Posted By: Mazen Fri, Dec 25, 2015 IP: 108.19.31.126

Hi, I brought this table that I believe is huanghuali. I'm fairly certain it is from the Ming or Qing dynasty. I believe it is most likely 18th century

I'm not sure.
It is possible, but I equally don't want to build your hopes up. It could be longyanmu. You will have to post far better images than these. Let us see under the feet; & the underside of the top.
The exposed tenons to the top does make me think the likelihood it's longyan is far higher than huali. If huali it's very - very early.

This is not longyan mu!Neither the colour, nor the structure are even similar.
I have some items in longyanmu and quite a lot of litterature about, so I am sure.
