Posted By: James Tue, Jan 19, 2016 IP: 70.15.36.231

I can't figure this one out. Stamped on the bottom of what looks like an aluminum vessel. I would really like if someone could translate it for me please.. thanks!!

likely meant to be japanese drinking cups but the stamp quality and apprerance of the base lead me to suspect it may be a modern imitation. hard to tell as you have decided not to share other photos.
本鍚 seems to be the maker
喜山 seems to be the reading of large cartouche but not sure exactly what it refers to (it's a last name among other things)

Yes I should have been more descriptive and attached another picture, must have not been thinking. Here is another picture. I would guess maybe to serve sake? Don't know weather the handle is wrapped with real cinnabar.. It stands 5" tall and about 2" in diameter. Again any input is appreciated and thank you rat for your response.

Looks like the character 錫 to me. Meaning "genuine tin" or "pewter" in Japanese. Not sure if the left seal stamp is Kanji or Korean.
