Ming or Qing Dynasty. This piece was done in fine details. Good hand polish and very smooth and glossy. Nice quality nephrite.

looks attractive but have you ever seen another example like it? seems an unusual subject for jade, but then I don't know very much about jade.

Hi Rat, Thank you for your reply. This piece of jade is not often seen in the market, but it was a very craftsmanship and looks lively . It is a rare piece of art work!

Hi, Danny:

Have you tested this and confirmed it was indeed made of nephrite jade? Some time it was indeed very difficult to determine the material on white stone (it appears to be white on my monitor; what is its actual color?).

You have to forgive me for not being able to get too excited about either its material or its workmanship. May be others can render their opinions. Super
