Subject:Jarlet age

I am curious about the age of this jarlet purchased about 20 years ago in Hanoi,immediately after Americans were allowed to travel there. The jarlet is 3¾ high, 4¾ in diameter, with a glazed interior. Any help will be appreciated.

Your jar was used for fermented vegetables.
It is late 19 century.
Every chinese mother,gave those jars wen their sons where leaving the country for work elsware.
You can find them all over Asia.
And even in America

Thanks, Wil. The jar is about 9cm high and approximately 12 cm in diameter.
