Subject:Large Original Batik Painting? 1974

I can't find much info on this piece. Dated '74' and signed....Rambangoetoro?? I'm not sure if I am reading that correctly. The birds remind me of some Thai paintings I have seen.

What style/culture is this? Is it even Batik? The back looks the same as the front, and it is on what I believe is cotton (though it could be another fabric). The fabric is thin and chocolate brown.

The artist is Indonesian Bambang Oetoro. You can find him and his batik paintings by googling his name.

Thank you! Your eyes could see the B when ours kept wanting to see an R. Fascinating artist, makes me appreciate this piece even more so thank you for your help :)
