Posted By: Stan Sat, Apr 30, 2016 The artist is Kunisada (1786-1864). The subject is the actor Onoe Kikujiro II. I am having some trouble with the date seal, but I think it was printed in 1836 lunar month 4. |

Posted By: Stan Sun, May 01, 2016 I think geo is correct. The artist is Kunisada II. I shouldn't ID prints late at night. The actor is Onoe Kikujiro II. The play I identified is also wrong. |

Posted By: Guy Mon, May 02, 2016 Your three prints together are a triptych, designed by Utagawa Kunisada II (1823-80) and published by Kiya Sôjirô (firm name Kôbokudô). |
