Subject:Re: Identification of maker's mark
Posted By: Bill H Wed, Jun 01, 2016 Not a maker's mark but a decorative stamp of "Made during the Guangxu Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty". You don't mention its size, but this piece may be a footbath, probably transfer-decorated in Hong Kong or Macao in the late 20th century using a Chinese porcelain blank. |

Posted By: snap Wed, Jun 01, 2016 It is not a maker's mark, it is a mark reading Great Qing [dynasty] Guangxu reign made. This reign was officially 1875-1908. |
