Subject:Jade Vase with Gold plinth
Posted By: Ash Mon, May 30, 2016 IP: 149.18.81.163

Hi guys,
I brought this from a boot sale in London some time back. I can't read Mandarin so not sure of any significance of the vase.
Can anyone help me recognize the write up and seal. It comes with nice box and the only thing I can recognize is 2009 (presumably year of manufacture or sale in market).

You forgot to post the picture(s) of the most important item here - the "jade" case itself. Is there a box or certificate come with it?

I googled the company 博之源 for you and kept seeing

items that were made of 琉璃 which was basically crystal which was glass with 24% lead. Therefore, if you do a scratch test on it, it would not be scratched. At first I thought with its rose look it could be made of pink quartz but crystal was more likely.

Interesting. Must have gone length to produce exquisite looking piece from lead and glass. What does the things on various shots read like?
