Subject:Chinese porcelain charger

Would appreciate any additional information about a Chinese porcelain charger, about 18" diameter. On the back are several 1/2" metal staples (barely visible in the photo). The marks appear to be "Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi" ("Ming Dynasty Chenghua Period Make") [mark 1349 on the Gotheborg.com site] and are under the glaze, not printed on top. Would like to know approximate age and value, maybe name of the pattern/scene. Thank you!

Your charger is Japanese Arita (Imari) ware, possibly late 17th century.
