can anybody tell me something about the seal and the text written on the paintings? unfortunately we can not find anything in the www.
the painting are on silk.

This is the signature and seal of the late Edo period Tosa-ha painter, Tosa Mitsuzane (土佐光孚) 1780 - 1852.

... do you think that the second painting is from the same artist?
I am not sure because, the stamps doesn't look similar.
