Don't know it, but looks quite attractive. At the moment I can't tell if it's a contemporary work imitating this type of landscape that is busy with buildings, an older (still 20th century) original work, or a reproduction of such an older work. The seals are all of collectors, not of the artist. Are there other seals on the picture? Closer/larger photos without glare could help.

Dear Rat,

Some other seals. I am sorry about the glare and bad photos.

This is a seal that is supposed to place the painting in the collection of Xiang Yuanbian, a famous Ming collector, but I have not seen this version of it before. The other seals are all collectors' seals as far as I can tell from the photos, but none immediately recognizable to me, which at least suggests that the painting is not blatantly attempting to deceive. The picture and its seals are worth closer examination. It's unlikely to be a genuine Ming work but it's worth ruling that possibility in or out.

This may be what is called a "Suzhou pian", paintings imitating classical Chinese paintings, often in this blue and green color scheme, made in the Suzhou area during the Ming and Qing dynasties to deceive, or if you prefer, as alternatives to genuine works for those who would not afford them. Nowadays they are interesting decorative paintings with some historical and commercial value, but are not considered "fine art". The leading auction houses may try to avoid offering them much but they appear reasonably frequently one tier below.

Dear Rat,
This is amazing information. I will try to remove the glass to get better pictures.

Thanks so much for the enlightening inpuT!
